Mel B trained at the prestigious Larkin Dance Studio in St. Paul, MN, graduating a semester early from the St. Paul Conservatory of Performing Arts.  Only a few short months after relocating to Los Angeles, she booked her first major gigs dancing for Wayne Brady in his headlining show at the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas, and soon after for Wade Robson in Cirque du Soleil's "Believe" starring Criss Angel. Since then, she has continued on in her career as one of the leading female commercial dancers in L.A., dancing for companies and artists such as Ludacris, TLC, E! Network, Budweiser, Reebok, Redken, America's Got Talent, Hewlitt-Packard, Macy's, Keyshia Cole, Capezio, Macy Gray, and touring with international superstar Kanye West on his Dark Fantasy Tour.  In addition, Mel has choreographed commercially for companies such as Suave Hair and Oscar Meyer; just recently, Mel wrapped filming as head choreographer on both the TLC Network show "Totally T-Boz" starring T-Boz of TLC, and a new pilot starring Wayne Brady. Her unparalleled experience as Directory of one of the largest dance competitions in the nation, and versatility in the highly technical competition realm in addition to the commercial and hip hop dance worlds of LA/NY, place her among the top teachers, choreographers, judges, and dance artists actively in the dance world.  Melia currently resides in Atlanta recording her first album with hip hop collective We Are Lucid.
